Quartz / Agate Geode slice

Item Description

A beautiful and really eye-catching piece of what is sometimes called a mini coco in the Agate trade. It came labeled as a "Geodinho" originally. This specimen was part of a crystal-line geode, and was later sliced and polished to better show the beautiful exterior "rind" of colorful Cloud Agate, with the famous Barros Cassal swirl patterns. A small acicular spray of silvery metallic Goethite can be seen on one corner of the piece. The interior is lined with "jewel"-like colorless Quartz crystals. A great mix of colors can be seen including golden, caramel, coffee, red, and white / colorless. Just gorgeous up close, this stuff is really pretty in person.
