Quartz / Agate Geode (ex Willard Wulff Collection)

Item Description

One of the classic Quartz-lined geodes from Las Choyas, Mexico featuring crystallized Quartz / Smoky Qartz / Amethyst with beautifully banded blue Agate around the periphery. This piece is polished showing colors ranging from a soft silvery-blue to nearly white ranging into a soft purple color that grades into Smoky Quartz. This piece comes from the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. Wulff was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936.
