A RARE and colorful pseudomorph combination from this famous and historic mine. Sparkly quartz pseudomorphs after thin tabular wulfenite crystals are festooned on the thin matrix crust covered with beautiful blue-green smithsonite botryoids. Quartz is very uncommon from Ojuela and these wulfenite pseudos with smithsonite are extremely so! Very choice Ojuela material from the Bob Trimingham Collection. His label says the Astillero Mine, near Ojuela. This is incorrect. Only Ojuela has the three species. MINDAT lists only quartz for the Astillero Mine. Value??
