Item Description
Some of the most prolific crystallized Quartz deposits in the world are those in western Arkansas. The crystals are some of the largest and purest (colorless) examples of the species found in any world locality. This is a beautiful faceted example of this classic material, with a traditional "Round Brilliant" cut. With all the colors of Quartz on the market, one does not encounter much colorless material, but a stone like this is important for the locality. I certainly have not seen a lot of facetted gems of Arkansas Quartz around, and this good-sized stone would make a nice addition to any collection. If you collect gems from the United States, you should have one of these in your collection.
