Like a long, tapered "icicle" of Quartz, this is a rare flattened Quartz crystal from Diamantina. Glassy, lustrous, and gemmy, this tabular crystal has one excellent chisel termination, with interior veils in the mid-section adding interest and character. The crystal faces are very lightly frosted and have an attractive rippled, stepped-growth. This impressive floater is in excellent condition and nearly doubly-terminated. Fine and uncommon material from this famous locality, it was formerly in the George Feist collection. ex George Elling Collection.
