Item Description

A lovely small cabinet sized "milky" Quartz specimen from the lesser known Ohio Mine in the famous amphitheater just east of the town of Ouray in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. The secondary "stubby" hexagonal crystals are overgrowing the larger predominant crystal, and gives the specimen somewhat of a two-tone appearance. Specimens from this area are not common on the market, as this one was collected in the early 1980s.
