The less well-known Collier Creek Mine at Mt Ida, southwest of the famous Hot Springs area quartz deposits is well-known for limpid quartz specimens. Stunning, water-clear, very sharply terminated, gem quartz crystals form a sculptural and aesthetic 360-degree small cabinet specimen. The large crystal is 7.5 cm and is essentially pristine, with only a trivial wilber at the tip. The noted basal contacting and periphery wear certainly has minimal impact to the fine quality of this piece. It has multiple display possibilities.
