A classic specimen of Alpine Quartz from the famous Mont Blanc locality in the French Alps. This piece features well-formed, sharp, translucent/gemmy, nearly colorless prismatic Quartz crystals. The accompanying label states that the crystals on the side are actually a partial "Gwindel". It's a worthwhile display piece, with only a bit of roughness, but still a wonderful Quartz specimen from this world famous mineral producing region. A good hand-sized piece for your worldwide Quartz suite.
