A classic specimen of Alpine Smoky Quartz from the famous Mont Blanc locality in the French Alps. This piece is a well-formed, sharp, translucent, semi-lustrous, smoky-grey colored prismatic Quartz crystal group with a small nick at the termination, and some roughness around the lower portion of the specimen. It's more of a reference piece, but it's still a worthwhile Quartz specimen from this world famous mineral producing region. A good hand-sized piece for your worldwide Quartz suite.
