Attractive and unusual Quartz specimen from Jalgaon. The Quartz has crystallized into a gemmy hemisphere with so many fine terminations it looks highly stepped. In fact, if you think about it, the surface reminds one of the roiling surface of a white star. The sphere is 2.6 cm across, and the ball transmits light beautifully. It resembles how well a fiber optic sphere transmits light, and glows. Even better in person, by far.
