Item Description
Adorable 4.2 cm miniature quartz crystal "cross" from the well-known Mt Ida area of Arkansas. A 3.6 cm, doubly terminated, water-clear quartz crystal is beautifully embedded in the front of a stout, gem, hexagonal crystal with a steep offset termination. Complete all-around and very nearly pristine. Trivial termination and termination edge wear, plus an out-of-sight contact on the back, where another crystal once lay, but with no damage, per se are noted, but are certainly only very minimal detractions to this elegant quartz. From the Bill Larson Quartz collection case, of approximately 250 specimens, which we bought in 2023. It was a long-term, very diverse mix on display for decades at the Pala International shop as an educational and fun exhibit. It was started back in the late 1970s. An entrancing, artistic quartz "cross" from Mt Ida.
