Item Description

A graceful tight spray of sharp, well formed, prismatic, lustrous Quartz crystals makes this a distinctive quartz specimen from a classic location. The crystals are translucent to transparent and clear to partially cloudy. They are all well terminated. The main Quartz crystal, 10.7 x 1.7 x 1.5 cm, rises above a number of complementary sidecar crystals all on a matrix of much smaller Quartz crystals with Chalcopyrite. The piece is in near-pristine condition with only a couple of nicks and one broken sidecar crystal. One of the small sidecar crystals has formed an uncommon reverse scepter termination. Very cool! A really well formed specimen with an attention grabbing dramatic presentation. Ex. Kurt Hefendehl.
