A dynamically sculptural elongated cluster of intergrown Herkimer quartz "diamonds" from the famous Ace of Diamonds Mine in Middleville. The striking, very glassy and lustrous crystals, to 4.6 cm, are stunningly water-clear to translucent. Some of the crystals are doubly terminated. The included black bitumen and scattered air bubbles add even more character to this exquisite piece. This dramatic piece is complete all-around 360-degrees and appears to be a pristine floater. Please note, that most of these are repaired and it is to be expected: We believe that this one has been expertly repaired. Classic and particularly fine large clusters of Herkimer "diamonds" of this size and quality usually retail for 5-8k, and can be seen less and less at shows as this kind of quality is not found as often anymore, as in the 80s and 90s.
