Item Description

A RARE and large “Oaxacamer” skeletal Quartz crystal that is also double terminated, and with interesting clay inclusions, from Coahuila, Mexico. The quartz is lustrous, translucent to transparent with glassy crystal faces completely around the entire crystal. The back of the crystal appears to have grown against another skeletal crystal based on the negative impression on the back. Yet all the faces on the back are crystalline and just as glassy as the front. There are multiple termination points on each end of the double terminated crystal with the bottom having minor iron staining and iron inclusions. There is a little nick on the top back termination but other than that all the points are clean. Skeletal quartz from Mexico especially of this size and quality are extremely rare on the market. From finds of about 2019-20.
