Item Description

This showy and aesthetic full-sized cabinet piece from Madagascar featuring a few fine, sharp, gemmy/translucent, prismatic crystals of Quartz (one of which is doubly-terminated) sitting atop slightly iron-coated Quartz crystal matrix . The piece sits beautifully on its own without the aid of a base or clay. No major damage to the three main Quartz crystals at the top of the piece, though there are a few tiny imperfections I can see. From the collection of Vasco Trancoso, a medical doctor and prominent mineral collector from near Lisbon, Portugal (https://www.mindat.org/user-11954.html). He assembled his mineral collection over the course of 60 years, and built a fine worldwide display collection that we recently purchased.
