Item Description
Santa Eulalia pyrrhotites are a Mexican classic. This is an outstanding and aesthetic cluster of sharp hexagonal crystals very nicely accented with starkly contrasting quartz crystals. The crystals have typical layering and classic brassy luster. Some faces have very nifty stepped-growth. The piece displays very well from several views, as you can see. Hard-to-fine material in this quality from the 1960s or 70s. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection and acquired in 1998, according to his label.
