Item Description

An excellent and showy 2-piece deal of different colored pyrrhotite crystals with different habits of calcite from the famous mines at Santa Eulalia. The larger, lustrous, bronzey, pyrrhotite has a striking skirt of glassy, calcite scalenohedrons. The smaller pyrrhotite is highly lustrous, golden-bronze and is nearly engulfed by intergrown, glassy, calcite rhombs. Decidedly different, yet decidedly complimentary combination pieces from the Dave Stoudt Collection # 299. Choice older material formerly in the Consie Prince Collection.
