Item Description

Lustrous, golden-brown, hexagonal pyrrhotite crystals are dramatically accented with clusters of intergrown, doubly terminated calcite scalenohedrons, isolated flat metallic-gray galena crystals and clusters of lustrous, black sphalerite twins. The famous mines at Santa Eulalia have produced some of the world's finest pyrrhotite specimens and this is an exceptionally fine combination plate from the Bob Trimingham Collection.
