Item Description

Santa Eulalia, along with Dal'negorsk, produced some of the world's finest pyrrhotite specimens and this is a very fine combination minature. Two, aesthetically intergrown, blocky, hexagonal crystals have classic brassy color and luster. The crystals are beautifully draped and accented by two generations of calcite. Sparkly, tan, drusy calcite coats the underlying lustrous, white rhombs. Hard-to-fine material in this quality from the 1960s or 70s. Ex Cynthia Payne Collection.
