Item Description
A classic Pyrrhotite specimens from Santa Eulalia featuring sharp, well-formed, metallic, dark bronze colored, pseudo-hexagonal crystal group measuring up to 1.3 cm on a matrix coated by translucent colorless, prismatic Quartz crystals that are coated by a thin layer of beige-tan Siderite. A small etched group of matte black Sphalerite can be seen on the back of the piece. Most of the Pyrrhotite crystals are complete and undamaged, These specimens are some of the most well-known examples of Pyrrhotite in the world, and they seem to be dwindling on market, as I don't recall anything of note coming out in many years.
