For those who like their pyrrhotites big and their minerals bigger (or vice versa?), this is a HUGE cluster weighing 4.4 pounds, of large, thick, robust pyrrhotites. The piece is complete and 360 degrees, all around. It has a very, very sharp geometry to the stacked hexagonal crystals, and a complex surface. The surface shows some alteration to, or perhaps ingrown, siderite and pyrite. But all tips are there, and the base is rimmed around by some contrasting metallic gunmetal-gray galena for accent.
