Santa Eulalia pyrrhotites are a Mexican classic and are some of the best in the world. An impressive, blocky, tapered, hexagonal crystal with typical layering, luster and rust-brown color is aesthetically attached to calcite rhomb matrix. A very showy, complete all-around and classic crystal, that is pristine. Hard-to-fine material in this quality from the 1960s or 70s. Ex Ed Bancroft Collection.
