Santa Eulalia pyrrhotites are a Mexican classic. This is a striking, excellent, massive, blocky, hexagonal crystal with typical layering and classic bronzey luster. Half of the sidecar crystal and the back of the crystal are sprinkled with tiny, brassy, arsenopyrites with either calcite or siderite. The checkerboard pattern on the crystal face adds much character. A very showy and classic crystal, that is pristine. Hard-to-fine material in this quality from the 1960s or 70s.
