Pyrrhotite specimens from Santa Eulalia are among the worlds finest and this is an excellent example. Interesting, slightly bent columns of sharp hexagonal crystals have lustrous, very rich golden-bronze color and are nicely accent by a fat side car crystal. The flat-topped terminations are much more lustrous, than the sides. We have seen lots of Santa Eulalia pyrrhotites, but very few of this rich golden-bronze color. The contacting on the back is out-of-sight. Old material from the 1960s or 1970s. Aesthetic and classic material from the Consie Prince Collection.
