Item Description

Pyrosmalite-(Fe) is a rare iron silicate. Mineral specimens of any species are RARE from this obscure ore field. Sharp, translucent, yellow, hexagonal prisms, to 3 mm, are clustered and isolated on the sparkly, granular magnetite matrix. Whiel not a world class example by any means, this is very rare reference or study material from the Stockholm Museum and Matioli Collections.
