Item Description
Pyrophyllite is a member of the Talc group, and the locality at Staley, North Carolina has given collectors some of the better known examples of the species around. This small cabinet specimen features some very well-formed and attractive pale green radiating groups on host rock matrix. If you have one of these on your checklist, be sure to pick it up as they are seldom seen on the market in good quality specimens. The piece originally is from the collection of Edwin Skidmore and comes with a label from Bob Batic.
