Pyrope Garnet (Chromium-bearing)

Item Description

Pyrope is one of the more beautiful red Garnets out there. The material is only found from a handful of localities in top gem quality material. This particular stone is from Arizona and has a very attractive, strong, deep wine red color. The gem has as standard "Round" cut and is very very slightly included. The gem is actually a little darker than it appears in the photo, and I am told that the color is helped by a trace of Chromium.
