An eye-catching specimen featuring a handful of rich purplish-red Pyrope Garnet crystals on contrasting greenish-grey schist matrix. The Pyropes show excellent trapezohedral crystal faces and measure up to 1.3 cm. You don't see too many pieces from Hamarøy, Norway on the market, and if you collect worldwide Garnets, this would be a great piece to add to your collection.
