Item Description

The Sherman Mine is not far from the famous Bunker Hill Mine, which has produced so many world class pyros. It is distinct, with pyros that look different than Bunker Hill however, and specimens from the Sherman Mine are extremely uncommon. This outstanding and very rich undulating crust hosts striking radial sprays of lustrous and translucent, olive-green, tapered prisms. This is a color totally unlike any Bunker Hill pyromorphites, that we have ever seen. There are more tiny pyro crystals with rare quartz on the back. Old, rare and very choice material from this locality, probably from the 1960s.
