Item Description

An adorable and sculptural Bunker Hill miniature of lustrous, translucent, yellowish-green tapered pyromorphite prisms from the first major 1981 finds, acquired by Wayne Sorenson and sold to Harvey Gordon. The crowning prism is 1.1 cm and there are cerussite crystals in the matrix, as a bonus. The few broken crystals have negligible impact to this cutie. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 9434 and acquired from Harvey Gordon in February, 1982 at the Tucson Show. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017). Classic first find Bunker Hill pyromorphite.
