Juicy, translucent two-toned apple-green hexagonal pyromorphite prisms fill vugs on all sides of this striking, colorful, sculptural and very rich small cabinet from the San Andres Mine. Compound prisms reach 1.2 cm and the small nest of white barite blades is a super contrast and accessory. The remarkable crystals in one view look like a juicy green cave carbonate flowstone deposit! The limited 1997 high quality pyromorphite finds from this old Spanish lead-barite mine are the finest European finds since the world-class finds from the famed Les Farges Mine in France during the 1970s to early 1980s. Choice and classic material with many fine display views. Essentially solid pyromorphite. Valued at $1500.
