Item Description
A strikingly sculptural, aesthetic and rich small cabinet of wet-look, juicy, straw-yellow botryoids of the rare calcium-rich pyromorphite varietal polysphaerit on the oxide-coated quartz matrix. This an exceptional example and rare varietal from a small mid-1990s find at the famous Bunker Hill Mine. The well-placed central knob is spectacular and the botryoids reach 5 mm. Very seldom available in this richness and quality. This was once a full species, apparently, circa 1832 (Breithaupt). Valued at $1250-1500 and well worth it.
