Item Description
Wet-look, juicy, straw-yellow botryoids of the rare calcium-rich pyromorphite varietal polysphaerit are richly and attractively strewn across the crest of the oxide-coated quartz matrix on the sculptural matrix on this excellent and rare varietal from a small mid-1990s find at the famous Bunker Hill Mine. The botryoids reach 4 mm. Very seldom available in this richness and quality. This was once a full species, apparently, circa 1832 (Breithaupt). Valued at $350-500.
