Item Description

The historic Heilige Dreifaltigkeit Mine in the Erzgebirge is the TYPE LOCALITY for Pyromorphite. The grass green, 2 mm hexagonal crystals are nicely formed and well-represent the Type Locality. The contrast of the Pyromorphite crystals against the Baryte matrix is attractive and really helps them stand out. Previously in the Walther Appelt and Hermann Kraft collections, this was #8086 in Kay's collection.
