The historic old Heilige Dreifaltigkeit Mine of Saxony is the Type Locality for pyromorphite. This is an exquisite, elegant and rare miniature of free-standing terminated crystals. The 3.0 cm spray of lustrous, translucent, greenish-yellow prisms dramatically rises up from the spare matrix wedge. Most specimens from here feature flat-lying crystals. Good pyromorphites from here are RARE and this is an outstanding and pristine example. Fairly valued at $1100.
