Item Description
A very sculptural and excellent 360-degree two generation pyromorphite minature from this renowned locale. Tiny pyromorphite needles cover the much larger lustrous gray to brown tapered prisms. The impressive larger crystals reach 2.0 cm. Complete all-around, the interior is pristine. The noted periphery wear is certainly only a very modest detraction to this very fine older example from this classic locale. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 1946 (probably dating to the 1950s). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
