Item Description
The Sherman Mine is not far from the famous Bunker Hill Mine, which has produced so many world class pyros. It is distinct, with pyros that look different than Bunker Hill however, and specimens from the Sherman Mine are extremely uncommon. This outstanding and very rich piece hosts three varieties of prisms to about 1.2 cm in the bowl-shaped vug: lustrous, mustard-yellow prisms with mustard-yellow terminations; olive-green prisms prisms with mustard-yellow terminations; and olive-green prisms with olive-green terminations. These are colors totally unlike any Bunker Hill pyromorphites, that we have ever seen. Old, rare and very choice material from this locality, probably from the 1960s. Ex Mark Feinglos Collection. Valued at $750
