Striking densely intergrown diverging sprays and starbursts of pyromorphite prisms form a beatifully aesthetic 3-sided miniature from the famous Daoping Mine. The tapered lustrous, translucent light green spindles reach 1.6 cm. The tiny oxide-tinted prisms add color and pizzazz. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a small patch of tiny broken crystals. Amazing for such a densely clustered piece. Daoping, a world-class pyromorphite mine, is famed for crystal habit, color and style and this is an exceptional miniature example of this varietal. Obtained in a large trade from prominent collector, Steve Smale.
