A sculptural and aesthetic small cabinet crust of juicy, rich apple-green tapered pyromorphite spindles, to about 1.0 cm. This is among the richest, lushest and rarest green hue you will see from the myriad of varietals from Daoping and the tapered prism style is rare. An exceptional, colorful and rare style of pyromorphite from the famed early 2000s finds at the Daoping Mine. The bit of noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction. The striking densely scalloped crust on this solid pyromorphite specimen adds an additional element of interest. Ex Steve Smale Collection, one of the great mineral connoisseurs of our time.
