Lustrous, translucent, apple-green to yellow-green pyromorphite microcrystals cover the unusual matrix of Triassic-aged sandstone of this very rich and showy large specimen from this ancient lead mine, where mining ceased around 1880. Old, classic, excellent and seldom available material.
