Item Description

The Sherman Mine is nearby the famous Bunker Hill Mine, which has produced many world class pyromorphites. However, It is distinct, with pyromorphites that look quite different than those from Bunker Hill and specimens from the Sherman Mine are extremely uncommon, especially with crystals of this size. Dense, grass green pyromorphite, some that are darker at the tips, make up this rich cluster from Sherman mine, and make for a great example of material from these rarely available finds. This is likely old material - likely from the mid-1900s. Ex. Fred Pough and Steve and Laurie Adams collections.
