Item Description
Here we have a seldom seen Pyromorphite specimen from the Burke area mines, which are not far from the famous Bunker Hill Mine, the source of some of the finest Pyromorphites ever seen. The Burke pieces are distinctly different from Bunker Hill however, as the color is usually a bit more subdued and closer to an olive-green than a bright chartreuse hue seen from Bunker Hill. This small cabinet specimen hosts many well-formed, prismatic, hexagonal crystals of grey-green Pyromorphite measuring up to 5 mm on matrix. This old-time piece probably from the 1950s or 1960s.
