Item Description

The Sherman Mine is not far from the famous Bunker Hill Mine, which has produced so many world class pyros. It is distinct, with pyros that look different than Bunker Hill however, and specimens from the Sherman Mine are extremely uncommon. The lustrous, olive-green, prisms to 5 mm are of a color totally unlike any Bunker Hill pyromorphites, that I have ever seen. Crystals richly cover two sides of this old-timer. A few broken crystals are noted along the periphery, but certainly nothing to detraction. Ex Mullane Collection and comes with an old Grieger's label, a well-known California dealer and collector, prior to World War II.
