Pyromorphite is rare from Bolivia, and even though this piece isn't the finest example of the species, it's significant from Bolivia, as the finest crystals of the species are found at Huari-Huari. If you're a fan of Pyromorphite, this is certainly worth picking up as they are virtually impossible to find on the market. This thumbnail sized specimen features a coverage of good quality, somewhat lustrous, prismatic, green to yellow color crystals of Pyromorphite measuring up to 4 mm on an oxidized matrix. . The crystals are well-formed and are only very slightly skeletal or hoppered. A cool, unique and interesting "locality" specimen for any Pyromorphite collector or somebody with an interest in Bolivian minerals.
