Pyromorphite is EXTREMELY RARE from Patagonia (Southern), Argentina. The four localities listed by MINDAT are in Central or Northwestern Argentina and MINDAT shows only one photo. Sculptural, diverging sprays of lustrous, translucent, hexagonal, olive-green prisms, with an oxide tint, richly and aesthetically cover the matrix plate. The trivial bit of bruising has no impact to the quality of this very showy rarity. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection. Dave is a petroleum geologist and advanced collector, who worked and lived in Argentina for several years and bought from the locals. So, we have no reason to doubt his label. Value of such a rarity?? A MUST for the species or locality collector.
