Pyromorphite on Cerussite (excellent)

Spectacular, radial sprays of juicy, apple-green, pyromorphite prisms or spindles to 1.2 cm cover the front, sides and back of this striking, aesthetic and beautiful specimen from Daoping. Nearly all of the crystals are hoppered. The matrix is a boxwork of cerussite blades, so this piece is robust and hefty. This is a very fine specimen with vivid color and high luster, with just a trivial bit of bruising and periphery wear. These are world-class pyromorphites and someday soon we will wonder where they all went, just like Les Farge and Bunker Hill. Valued at $1500, for quality, size and dense coverage.
