Sparkly, luscious, translucent, tiny apple-green pyromorphite prisms richly and aesthetically cover the large sculptural, hefty and sturdy matrix of oxide-coated bladed barite on this showy and excellent combination specimen from the famed Les Farges Mine. The "spine" or ridge of larger crystals running down the piece really adds pizzazz and character. The modest bit of bruising has minimal impact to the fine quality of this desirable apple-green varietal. Choice self-collected pyromorphite from the Paul Zerfass Collection # 399.
