Item Description
Two generations of mustard-tipped pyromorphite crystals are generously and aesthetically scattered on the sculptural elongated matrix of parallel-growth, iron oxide-coated, barite blades. Both the lustrous, larger olive-brown prisms and beautiful little corsage-shaped crystal clusters have mustard tips. Mustard-yellow tipped pyromorphite crystals are some of the most striking, unusual and desirable varietals from the famed Les Farges Mine. This world-class pyromorphite locale produced a dizzying variety of excellent specimens prior to its closing in 1981. A very elegant and aesthetic 360-degree specimen in super shape. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued at $2000-2500.
