A classic, very fine and very rich pyromorphite specimen from this famous mine, closed since 1981. Lustrous barrels are festooned on all sides of the mounded matrix of iron oxide-coated barite blades. The two sprays with the largest crystals at the top of the piece are striking. The olive-brown prisms have the highly desirable hoppered terminations with mustard-colored tips and reach 1.3 cm. Very few broken barrels are noted, for such dense coverage.
