Item Description

Two intersecting, arborescent sprays of lustrous, translucent, brown pyromorphite prisms form a very sculptural and elegant miniature from this famous locale. The well-placed dramatic, hoppered, capping crystal is 1.6 cm long. Bruising on one side is out-of-sight in the three very fine display views. Ex Moritz Lechner, a prominent Austrian collector in the late 1800s, and Phil Scalisi Collections. Classic and excellent material from this mine, that closed in 1913. Valued at $600-750.
